This is a decent book, it was the textbook I needed for my course so I didn't really have much choice in buying it. I paid £41.60 for the book (would have been £43.79 without my NUS discount). But overall it's a good textbook, it explains the concepts clearly and I like how it has many pictures to illustrate throughout the book. The key terms section is definitely a major help, it's helped me get to grips with understanding the topics for my course. Compared to some of the other books I have read from the library this one is still my favorite.

The Kolb/Whishaw is the most comprehensive neuroscience book I know of. The illustrations are great and make it easy to understand the context. I strongly recommend this book for your studies/lectures.

I'm still a fan of Bear's Neuroscience... but this is a helpful addition.

the book is fab for students and easy to read. However the corners of the book were damaged, perhaps better packaging or greater care with delivery should be dressed.

The front cover was torn. I did not expect that and it was not indicated when I was buying it.
